Q: How do I get access to Internet News Groups (NNTP)
A: 

DirecPath provides full Broadband support to tens of thousands of Internet News groups for retrieval thru any compliant NNTP application *such as Microsoft Outlook) using the below standard settings:

  • NNTP Server:                 news.direcpath.com
  • Username:                     [user]@direcpath.tv
  • Password:                      [your email password]
  • NNTP Authentication:   Required

This service is provided thru a bulk arrangement DirecPath has established with GigaNews.  There is a 3Gbyte limit per DirecPath subscriber, per month.  If you wish to utilize bandwidth beyond this limit, we recommend that you purchase a direct account with GigaNews (www.giganews.com) for a minimal fee.
